I’ve stood in Lerakuty Cave and felt the weight of time press down. Not the kind of weight you feel in a museum. This is raw. Ancient. Real.

You’ve seen the photos online. That eerie blue-green glow. The dripping walls. The way people talk about it like it’s some secret portal.

You’ve seen the photos. That misty green drop. That roar you can almost hear through the screen. But then you start planning.

You’re standing there. Sweat on your neck. Throat dry. That waterfall looks perfect.

Is your tap water safe? That’s the question you’re asking right now. Not in some abstract way (you’re) holding a glass and wondering if you should drink…

You’ve seen the photos. That misty cascade cutting through raw rock. You want to stand there.

You stand there. Water crashes. Rock shakes. You feel small. But you don’t know why it looks like this. Or how long it took.

You’ve seen the photos. That misty cascade tucked into mossy rock, sunlight hitting the pool just right. Then you try to find it.

You’ve seen the photos. That perfect cascade, mist rising, nobody else in sight.

Your skin feels tight. Dull. Reactive. Even though you’ve layered on three hydrating serums. Even though you swear by that $80 mist.
